I am planning an upcoming series of graphics related to scientific equipment and materials mainly for use for people in academia who want easily modifiable images to suit their needs (lab manuals, textbooks, courseware). Here is the first in the series: a microcentrifuge vial. In the zip file you will find a PSD (Photoshop file) as well as several variants of the vials for users who do not have access to Photoshop. Here are some sample images.
The zip file contains: the PSD, one empty vial, five colours sets with four volumes each. The PSD file comes with instructions on how to edit it.
The entire file and all .png images are licensed under international Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported. The license file can be found in the zip or here. Basically – you can use, change, and repost any of the images for commercial or personal uses. Just attribute the work as modified by me! Simple 🙂
I hope you enjoy these, they were fun to make!
