Hi there, my name is Mike Murkovic!

I graduated from the University of Waterloo with Distinction with an Honours BASc in Nanotechnology Engineering and an Option in Management Sciences from the University of Waterloo.

At UW I engaged in co-operative education to complement my theoretical knowledge in the classroom. I spent 8 months in school and 8 months working in the real world. I have had four great co-op placements during my undergraduate degree which add up to 2 years of working experience.

1. Undergraduate Lab Developer and Lab Supervisor – University of Waterloo (8 months)
2. Bioinformatics Research Assistant – UHN Microarray Research Center (8 months)
3. Hardware and Software Designer – Dimwatt Technologies, as part of a start-up company (4 months)
4. .NET Application Developer – CEM Benchmarking Inc. developing a leading edge web and database application (4 months)
